Left a voicemail saying that I would be arrested by the Sheriff's Office in 2 hours if I didn't respond. Well, I responded alright. I told them where to go and how to get there. Dumb asses.

First sentence of harassing call cut off before begins recording. Female voice. Threatens legal action on supposed debt apparently? Nothing we know about. Should be prosecuted for doing this. Either in this life or another!

First part was scrambled and could not be made out. My voicemail took the message and it was a recording of a woman's voice (seemed recorded) this is what it said, "ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge, or a grand jury or a federal criminal offense. Now, this is the final attempt to reach you. To know your case number and to speak to a federal agent call back on 703.297.8984, I repeat 703.297.8984. Thank you."

Came up on my phone as unavailable.

I have received several calls. One stated that it was the IRS fraud division. I immediately called the number. An Indian man answered, identified himself as an investigator and gave me an ID number. When I asked why I hadn't received notification in the mail, the man said he didn't have time for people like me and hung up. I have also received two recorded messages, one from the IRS and one that stated that there were 5 arrest warrants out and the sheriff was on the way! Block this number. It is definitely a scam and don't give out ANY personal information.

Kindly get back to us at 703-297-8984. I repeat 703-297-8984. Now if you don't return the call. The only thing I can do is wish you good luck. Thank you."

Received call from Officer Frank Davis (left a voice message) stating that there was a case against me due to fraudulent tax filings. I called them back (just to mess with them) but believe it or not they didn't asking me for anything even though I was stringing them along asking them what I needed to do and give in order to stay out of jail.. SCAM

I will be taken in front of a magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal criminal offense and if I wanted my case number I could talk to a federal agent at this number. It was their second attempt to get me and that was a serious matter......they left it on a voicemail. Female voice no name.

Yes, left a VM. I called back and they used my phone to verify my address and name. Asked if I had a lawyer to represent me in court. I asked why this did not come in the mail, and the lady said she will mail it again. I suspect that is the end of that!

My wife received a call from this number stating that an "officer" of the IRS also had a lawsuit filed against her and that she needed to call them immediately. This is a hoax and I hope you can avoid headaches with this post.

The caller said that they were an "officer" of the IRS, claimed a lawsuit had been filed against me, and that I was subject to getting arrested if I did not contact them immediately. Appears to be a scam (as the other comments noted below).
