An unwanted call from this Virgina VOIP number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller hung up. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) hate reaching answering devices while they are trolling the phones, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

Many posters report the caller is Medicare Seniors, possibly one of many Medicare crooks who collectively steal $60 billion per year from taxpayers by scamming the system. Telecriminals like this are the reason you should LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.

Didn't answer since I didn't recogonize the number. Called back from work line, sounded like rotary dialing and message "791, the number you dialed is no longer in service". I have blocked and reported the number.

The guy said who he was calling from, I asked if he could repeat that, what company he was with and he said he didn't remember, it was a long name and I could just go home and then he hung up. Definitely something up with this.
