I personally received a phone call this morning from a company asking for me stating they were from American Judgement Services calling to inform me that Cash Advance America was pressing charges on me for theft by deception by taking out a loan from them and never paying it back which I have never done. They call and have your social security number, your employer name, your banking institution etc. They ask for you to confirm this information and ask for other personal information as well. I did not give them any information but they did tell me I took a payday loan out from Cash Advance America on February 10, 2010 for $227.00 and told me that I took it out with my checking account. Funny thing is that I wasn’t employed here until February 15, 2010 and I didn’t have an account here until the end of the month. These people calling have a very Americanized name “Scott Wilson” with a very deep foreign accent. They stated that I will have a sheriff visiting me tomorrow after 11 am and they will be contacting my employer.

I have notified the police department Sgt. Lykken and he stated that this is not a crime unless they debit funds from my account. It is merely a scam to obtain personal information, more than what they have already obtained on the internet already. They cannot do anything unless this happens but informed me never to give out personal information. The public has already been notified of this in our news and in our newspapers in the recent past. The number they are calling from is a Virginia number 703-651-3275 for your information.
