I don't answer numbers I don't know. Would just leave a voicemail to call him back at that number. Then when I did pick up because he called me 3 times in the course of 4 hours he told me he was calling from the Tax Board and there was a warrant out for my arrest. When I asked him what for he told me to hold on! Knew at that moment it was a scam. Mostly because by law if someone says there is a warrant for your arrest and you ask why they are to respond at that moment. And he had no answer as to why.
Male with Indian accent. He says he has a federal claims court order to arrest me, and that I needed to call him back right away to avoid arrest. He called me 3 times.
Caller stated police on the way to arrest me unless I call back for IRS Fraud.
Indian caller left a message about legal petition against me. Oh no! The scam artist stated that I would have to call them back to avoid going to jail.
Same, Indian caller claiming IRS was suing me, looking for my lawyers info.
