They also called me with the same threats. That IRS would be forced to take action if we didn't return call for fraudulent tax filing or not filing taxes. They mentioned something about returned certified letters. As information IRS doesn't call people to conduct business.

yes I was called on 05052015. same message about being from IRS. stating that registered mail to my address had been returned and they threatened to sue me for fraudulent tax evasion. caller id #703-828-0618.
In the pat I have gotten calls intended for someone else about failure to pay for products, but they were calling an unknown (to me) person. I returned the call then, to let them know that the number they called was not for the person they named. I assumed this recent "IRS" call was the same thing. I returned the call, but got no answer

Caller basically said (in a strong accent, and with a lot of background noise), "My name is James Anderson and I am with the I.R.S. - Internal Revenue Service. There have been some ..." I couldn't catch the rest of what was said before the call got disconnected.

Caller by name of Mike Brown stating he is from IRS. They call and leave message first and the when you call back they say you owe money and if you don't pay now you will be arrested.

I've gotten 4 calls in the past week. The first two calls came from this IL # 630-582-0473 and I blocked it. Now I'm getting calls from
VA # 703-828-0618. Both left the fake IRS voice mail. I hope someone shuts these people down quickly!

Called twice in the last few days (4/30/15). Hangs up. Called back and it just rang and rang...irritating

Received two 'Robocalls' on 04/30/15 from company identifying themselves as IRS and stating legal action will be filed against you if you don't call back, because you either did not file or filed fraudulently.... also received a 'live' call last month, stating the same thing, from Washington State....
I reported this to the IRS for them using THEIR name fraudulently....

Got a call from this number on 04/28/2015. Picked up and answered the phone and no one answered back and the call was terminated. Called back the number immediately and a man with an Asian Indian answered and identified the company as Internal Revenue Services and did not give a name. I told him that I had just recieved a call from this number and he asked me if I was sure since IRS never calls customers.

So the trick is they call you and if you pick up they identify themselves as IRS and tell you that you owe money on your taxes. But if you call them back at the number that shows up on your caller id and not the number that they may have left for you as a message, they will deny they called you.

Recorded message saying you owe the IRS money and to call them back to settle.

Caller: IRS fraud call. The IRS never calls, they only communicate by mail.
