Received a call from this number as 1-800-829-1040 and a woman identifying her as Karen Green said she was from the Legal Dept. I ran the number through the internet and came up with this scam notice. Called her back...somone answered the phone IRS. I let her know take my number off her list as this was a scam and we had no issues with the IRS, we were on the Do NOT CALL list and this was a warning.

Left message Claiming to be an officer with the IRS. Said I needed to call back today or I would be arrested for tax evasion. We have been receiving numerous calls from this number over the past several days.

Got a call from this number claiming to be the IRS. Asked for a badge number and the caller gave me a phony # 11852. I told him I have no issues with the IRS and that his call was a scam he told me to "expletive off". Beware!
