Called my wife's phone asking for me. Said "this is Kendall Wharton with the NC department of revenue". Said I need to return his call by June 5th, he did not leave a call back number. When I tried to caller ID number, it is out of order but used to be an old NCDOR number. I say scam!

Tameka mcclain from nc revenue returning a call(which I never called) you can give me a call back she would be out of the office from 12-1. she states that can give a call back and leave a voice message with a good number to call .... when I call the number it states that the number is not a working number and to call 919-754-6100

Say I owe money and they know I'm not working lein put on my account for the last 14 dollars have not been working for a year they can see my credit see I have no more valid accounts but they keep threatening me told me I had till 9/15/18 but already put a lien on 8/30/18 I have nothing and threatening me is only gonna cause me to rob someone or do something illegal just to get money so I am not threatened anymore WTF am I suppose to do

Gentleman called at 10:31am on 5/19/17.
"This is Joe with North Carolina Revenue".....pauses, shuffles papers, then says "....oh I dialed the wrong number. " Yep, you did! :::hangs up:::

Caller asked for a client and didn't identify herself. I told her that the client had never been at this number. She seemed dumbfounded at that point. Since I had her off her script, she said ok and hung up.

"Robin" called and left multiple voicemails saying she was from "North Carolina Revenue". Not once did she say she was from North Carolina Department of Revenue.
