No one ever speaks but it also seems to come at the same time my son is trying to call me from his verizon phone. Has this happened to anyone else. It feels so strange as usually someone speaks if it is a telemarketer. I too have called the number and get a recorded message.

I got this call on 12:55pm on 1-10-2010 when I answered it no one was there. This made me very nervous. Suddenly the message said that the message I was to listen to was unavailable. so I called the number back right away and the line has been busy eve since. I am on a National DO NOT CALL LIST. So I KNOW they are breaking some kind of law.

call came in, no message and nobody on line. the calls need to stop. nobody seems to be doing anything about these calls.

i recieved a phone call from the presidio hotel (707) 429-6000) at 2:27pm 1-9-11. when i answered it,it was my step dad. i asked him if he was calling me from a hotel and explained to him the # that had came up. we hung up and he called me right back and it was his #. very strange. i decided afterwards to look up this # presidio hotel and what i found was startling. i am very concerned,who are these people and what are they upto!! are they being investigated??

January 1, 2011 -- We see the 707-426-7000 called our phone also. We call back, nothing exists here to answer our call. Happened at 7:50 A.M. What a new year wish.

It is some sort of scame, so all beware. Report to Police, FBA ok. But also report to Public Service Commissions in all states that regulate telephone and communication companies in US.

YES i received a call from this # too so it shocked me, i have not had any calls like this since many years ago.Don't know who they are.Or what they are about ,never heard of them.I was on the other line on my phone, and this # showed up on my caller ID and i called it back and got some automated system, if they call again i will report them to the BBB.And The FBI and they will stop calling and harrasing people.

On 12/18/10 I received a call from this number(3 of which showed up as unknown and the other just said from California) and they told me they were from California and that it was the publishers clearing house and they wanted to ask me some questions(such as where I worked). When I told them no and hung up he called again and then put his "manager" on the phone who proceded to ask me how many childred I had and if I believed in GOD like he did and that he would pray for me. I asked them again to quit calling. They then called again, by now this is the 4 th time and I told them that if they did not stop harrassing me I would call the police.He then said that he was from the FBI and proceded to swear (such as using the f bomb) at me at which point I hung up and so far they have not called back. When I google it the # shows up as Presidio Hotel.

My caller I D said presidio hotel phone number 707-429-6000. I tried calling it back but got busy signal everytime. They told me that they were collecting money for a allenhospital in Waterloo Iowa. It did boy sound right so I hung up the phone.

The number came up on my phone's caller id. I was interested to know who it is and googled it. It shows the number belongs to the Presidio Hotel Group, LLC in Fairfield California. Why would they call me? I have no connection to them or anyone in California and actually live in NY. I have been getting a lot of these odd calls recently.
