This caller- a young woman- said she was calling from Better Homes and Gardens. She asked to speak with my deceased mother, and I told her she couldn't and asked to have her name removed from the subscription list. She tried to give me another number to call. I asked the purpose of her call and she said that she wanted to save my mother money on her subscription. I told her she couldn't- that my mother was dead, and that I wanted her name and number removed fom their calling list. She said, "Well, you don't have to be so rude about it. It's not like we get a list of deaths from every state." After a slight, disbelieving gasp,I asked for her agent ID number, and all she said was" I hope you have a blessed day, and I think you need to pray on this." Then she hung up. I used the call back function and found out the number, but all I got was a rapid busy signal. Better Homes and Gardens said they do not call their customers, so this obviously is a third party caller. She did not give her name or the company she was calling from, lied about who she was calling for, and then gave me a "good Christian reponse." Unbelievable!!!!
