I received a call from a Mike McCloud stating that we oew a debt from 2001 from a payoff amount that our Mortgage Co. already paid off, and he said "There is now a warrant out for both my husband and I to be arrested and handcuffed and taken away to jail in 2 days." I was so upset, because I was home with my youngest child at the time, and I didn't want her to hear the conversation, so I locked myself in the upstairs bathroom and called my 2 sisters crying that someone has to take my children for the next few days, because I don't want them to have to witness this happening. I consider myself a reasonably intellegent person, but these people really sounded sooooo convincing! They also told me to go to the nearest Western Union and fill out a green form "Money In Minutes" with the amount that they said we owed, then call Mr. McCloud with the traacking # and he'll drop the charges. I asked Mr. McCloud about the address that I was supposed to put on the money in minutes form, (because it was supposed to be written out to an attorney-Allan Smith Cheektowago NY 14225,) I asked for the REST of the address and the phone# so I can call the attorney to verify this so-called transaction, and his reply was "Hold on a minute I have to ask my superiors if you can have it." Well, we were not allowed to have the rest of the information because GET THIS (The attorney likes to go to the Western Union and deal with it hands on personally), and the ONLY way we can have the attorneys address and phone# is if we refuse to pay this debt and we see the attorney in court. I have Multiple Sclerosis and Sezuire disorder and this had me so upset that I was down for the whole weekend taking extra sezuire medication (because I was having auras of my sezuires coming on) I know we can't stop everyone from pulling these scum-bag stunts, but like I said in my previous blog, these people came into MY LIFE, and the ONLY money they are going to see is the TAX money that I pay to see their A**ES in jail. It was suggested to me to call your local police, Attorney General's Office, and District Attorney's Office, because these people are probably targeting others in our area, and might come to our door to make a pit stop to scare us. This way everyone is notified. I would also like to start a Civil Suit against these scum bags for trying to take our hard earned money, and not just that, but imagine the poor Senior Citizen that gets so upset, that they have a heart attack over this, or send them money when they don't even have it themselves? I'm not taking the attitude of "Well, nothing will happen anyway." because that is precisely WHY nothing DOES get done. I'm not just going to talk the talk, I'm going to walk the walk, and use my anger as a motivator, and I hope all of you that these people they have or tried to take advantage of will join me, in the meantime God Bless and Happy New Year! These people called my mother harassing her about
a debt for a pay day loan and wanted her to give them
her checking account information over the telephone.
When she said she didn't have a checking account, this
"Salvator Valentino" guy got really irritated and hurried off of the phone. I called back to get more information about the so called "debt" and where they were calling from, I spoke to "Jeffrey Thorn" only to get hung up on when I threatened to call my lawyer and the Georgia police because the amounts he was stating that was owed didn't make sense. I called again to get their address and he hung up again! These guys are scam artists that want your information to spend for Christmas!!!! Don't fall for it!

I got a disturbing call from the clowns at this number,. The person said she was a "special investigator" but
didnt say with whom. Said I was a respondant in
a law suit and gave a reference number.. told me to
call back 770 783 1951. I dont know if they are overly aggressive collection agents or if its an illegal phishing
scam. Beware of these numbers. I've seen similar complaints about 770 783-XXXX. I guess they have a bunch of numbers, all Georgia 770-783

A nan named Mike McCloud (also Jeffery Thorn) wanted to speak to my husband about what he called was a legal matter. They thought we lived in Florida and started speeling out Florida laws and what would happen to us. We don't live in Florida. My husband came home and called them back at: 770-783-1051 which they said was "Legal Jurisdiction Support Services". My husband was pretty tough with Mike McCloud so McCloud passed my husband to Jeffery Thorn who then quoted our address from a credit report and as we checked this certain company who they were supposedly representing and it wasn't even on our updated reports because we had taken care of it years ago. Very mysterious.

By the time Jeffery had hung up on my husband he managed to threaten the Sheriff on us who would come out and shoot our dog and take away our children. (We are grandparents with grown children). We have to put a stop to this, we are too old to have threats like this made at us. My husband got so mad he could have had a heart attack. Please stop these people!
