The same thing happened to me from this so called attorney named Mike Robinson with the same phone number 713-370-7392 . A guy with an Indian voice called me today and told me we need the phone No. of your attorney if you have one. I said why? He said you need to speak now and now to the attorney who is suing you in Texas and that he has all the information. I think if I told him I have an attorney, he would not have asked me to call him. However, I know I did not do any thing wrong. So I called. The name of this attorney is Mike Robinson. He has an Indian voice too. He told me prepare yourself, the Sheriff in your town is coming to pick you up and bring you to Texas, and that he is in the criminal department of the State of Texas. I told him what is wrong? He started reading a long charges against me that his client tried few days ago to take $120.00 application fee from my bank account and they were not able to for a pay day loan I got last week for $300.00. I said to my self, what kind of business is this who is taking me to jail just 3 days after they gave me the loan over $120.00 application fees. It is unusual practice and normally in this situation a good business would call or write if they need any thing. Not take me to jail immediately after giving me the loan. This has raised the flag for me that this is a scam. I said, Who is your client? Under repeated insistence from me he said USA Cash Advance. He told me if you call them, they will refer you to me. So he kept telling me give me now $950.00 to close the case or by Monday I will submit the documents to the Superior court in Texas and it will cost you by Monday morning $3500.00 and you have to come here and have a lot of expenses above that. He will also call my employer and ruin my credit scores. I am a business man, and have a long experience in dealing with people and we do nothing like that with our customers. in fact, we say always customers are kings and we try to help them in every way possible so we can survive and prosper in business. . I admit, this is the first time I experience this type of phone call. From the beginning, I started smelling the smell of a scam. It became very obvious as I kept him on the phone arguing with him that he is trying to scare me of jail in Texas and that he will call the Sheriff in my town to come and arrest me and send me to Texas. Once I realized that he is intimidating me with his scary tactic, I became very firm with him and turned the table on top of him and his so called Attorney license that he is using to scare people and steal from them their hard earned money. He was full of lies with every thing he said and he is no different than some one who has a gun and goes to rap people of their money and belonging in the streets, homes or businesses. When he realized that I am not going to give him any thing and I stood up firm, his voice went low and he said he knows how to get the money from me. One thing I noticed from talking to him, he wants to get the money immediately over the phone because it is his only chance since he used all of his strong scary tactic. He knows he has no other chance if you do not give up to him on the phone. This is his main objective from this illegal and and scary type tactic that he uses against innocent people. I would urge the authorities to go after him and put an end to this kind of behavior against follow citizens. It is a complete scam in the middle of the day using his so called the attorney position in the State of Texas to pressure people to pay him high amounts under the threat of taking them to jail. I ask kindly the Attorney General in the State of Texas to go after him and put an end to this kind of illegal practice in the name of the great State of Texas since he says he works in the criminal department of the State of Texas.
I called my bank and asked them if any one or business as he said tried to take $120.00 from my account and that you denied it, they said no. I told them to document that. I wonder how a person like that could get a way with this repeated behavior against follow citizens that is if he is really in Texas and not actually in India. If he is in India, I urge the Indian Embassy to go after him specially his phone number is still working and by him keep doing that he is harming the reputation of India and the Indian people.

I have recevied several calls on both my cell and work phone. I know this is a scam, the gentel man couldn't speak english and tried to provide a false accent as if he's from the south. I work for a goverment agency and I they advise that they are trying to steal money from bank accounts. Please dont give these ppl your information !!!!

calls telling me that i have payday loans and that i am going to be charged with numerous things like check fraud and falsifying documents.... tells me if i dont return phone call or if my attourny doesnt call that he wishes me the best luck on the bad situation coming to me. very threatening., i have recieved different calls from different numbers using the same message... person doesnt speak english very well at all and refuses to give me information on what company referred to them. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK INFO OR DEBIT CREDIT CARD INFO TO THESE PEOPLE.
