I got a call from Rosemary claiming to be from the irs and saying something about an arrest warrant... wouldn't the irs send mail notifying you to pay if you owe money before they just threaten to throw you in jail first?! These scammers need to be caught and prosecuted! Nothing is safe anymore ..

Rosemary automated message saying warrent for arrest. Called back and middle eastern guy said i owed back taxes from 2010 to 2015! Funny! Didnt know they still taxed u in federal prison! Stupid ass people. Now who is looking at a warrent asshole?

all the calls stated the same thing this was from the irs and they had a case against me and for me to call them immediately or a arrest warrant would be issues the same thing that others have wrote on here and one of the persons called me was named rebecca the man I dont remember his name then a recorded call stated the same so I looked the number up and seen it was a scam. Also got emails from them too

Sounded just like a robot. Woman's voice said "this is Rosemary from the department of revenue with the IRS. There is an arrest warrant out in your name. Please call the number shown on your phone, (713) 377-9243, right away to avoid further action or the police in your area will be called. This is very serious and not to be ignored." Then she repeated it.
While I'll admit I immediately assumed this was wrong because I know I'd have to hear directly from the IRS, this was still unnerving to hear.
Also, the number on the caller ID said it was out of Texas.

These people are criminals and scam artist. They leave computer generated voice messages claiming they are with the IRS Investigation Dept. When I as this Pakistanian women for their IRS idetification number the woman said sure why not and hung up on me very quickly. Please report all these scams to the FBI. This is interner terorism which can lead ro idenity theft. These criminals must be stopped.

She said her name was Rosemary and from the IRS. She said I needed to contact her about an arrest warrant before she contacted my local police department.
