Keeps calling me stating a Clayton Wanic from a Texas jail wants to place a collect call....not sure if maybe this is legit and an inmate has the wrong number

Called me 2 times at 3 AM ! It was a recording telling me they were from Snohomish County detention center and I needed to prepay to talk to inmate???

This is the new number/ survice for global telnet. The supplier for Baltimore City Detention Center. If you already have an account with them, you can accept call from inmate. Otherwise, u will need to create an account.

Claimed to be the local county juvenile detention center, and that a detainee was attempting to reach me. An automated speaker with a female voice asked me to press "0" to accept the call, and then she prompted me to set-up my debit card/payment information using some third party service. The call hung up by itself after asking me to give my information. Very strange and unusual. Do not provide your information to this number.

This was a phony call:
Indicating that an inmate at the local York County Prison was trying to call us. (We do not know anyone incarcerated there!)
The message instructed us to use our credit card to set up an account for payment in order to talk to this 'person'. The call was supposedly from "Global Tel Link," though it was hard to understand..
