Not sure what or who it can be but they called me one day and the next day called my husbands phone asking for me.

It's a company called Convergent Outsourcing.

They asked for a Carrie Jones - wrong number. Hope she is not making up phone numbers for credit applications.

I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize and hope they will leave a message but they don't.

I answered got a recording asking to speak with me, press number if I am the person or a number to hold or a number to call back later. This is my employment didn't have time to talk to a recording. They left a number 800-350-9095. I believe it a debt collection company, however the call is coming from a local number.
