Got a call from Colson, Gamble ,and ass today at 3pm. They left a voice mail message but didn't say who it was for or what number they were calling. They never mentioned a name but said that they needed to speak to me about something that my bank had returned today and told me to reference a specific report number without actually giving the report number. I don't use a bank, I use a credit union. Also, what bank would contact a collection agency or lawyer prior to trying to actually contact the account holder? This is nothing but a telephone version of a phishing scam. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. Once they have a name and phone number to go with it, then they can go back and find any debt owed by anyone with a name even similar to yours and try to intimidate you into paying.

got a call today from 713-568-9161 on caller ID. left msg that a bank had returned an item and to have myself or counsel to return call to 1-877-908-2953 saying that this was Colson, Gamble and Assoc. Called back the number and they were looking for someone I never heard of and I gave them an earfull since I get a lot of these type calls for some reason and I'm sick of it. will see if they call back
