(female voicemail message): "We have received a legal case against you.You will be getting arrested at your home or workplace. If you need any further information, you can reach me at 714-332-1560. See you at the courthouse."
Really? I've never heard of the police calling ahead and announce that they are coming to arrest the person.
I was called saying I would be arrested at my home At 5:30 tonight if I didn't pay them $500.00 right away.
a message was left on my phone yesterday telling me I was going to be arrested today from my home or at work. If I wanted more information I should call back. When I called back I was asked my if my name was correct and my address was correct. I was then told that after many failed attempts to contact me I was now going to be arrested. After a very long explanation I was told I could avoid the arrest if I quickly sent money. I then knew and said I don't think so and hung up. They had me going for a while and I found it very upsetting!
They left me a message that I will be arrested in 24 hours. I call them back and they told me that it is too late and I will be arrested in 1 hour, than hang up. I call police and file a police report.
I'll be arrested at home or work. Any questions contact me at 714-332-1560. see you in court
