I did the exact same thing. After getting so many telemarketer calls. I don't pickup calls from numbers I do not recognize.

pressed 1 to lower my interest rate ....they identified themselves as "card services", when I asked what card company they immediately hung up.

I got a call that said would you like to lower your interest rate to 9% to talk to a live person hit 1 so I did and I asked the lady on the phone WHAT COMPANY R YOU and SHE hung up, so i tried to call it back and it says the number is disco

Total scam... dont provide any of your information. Better yet, get a police whistle and answer the phone :)

Call a lot - never pick up but when i try to call back all i get is a busy tone. Must be some sort of scam/tellemarketing

Been getting a lot of telemarketer and unknown calls since buying new phone (with new number). All are getting my number from the local newsapers where I have published it for my new business. I never call any back but all their motives are the same which is to scam money legally (legally until caught somtimes) and illegally.

I received a call on my cellular phone from 1-714-408-3640 I didn't answer it. A message wasl left on my phone telling me I could get my credit card rates reduced, I called this number back and blocked my phone number. a received a message saying this number was no longer in service, I looked up the phonen umber and it is a land line phone and the call is coming from Anaheim California
