Someone by the name of Julie called our business and asked did we accept Amex. I said no, she asked could she pay her bill by other credit cards. I said yes, and then said "are you sure you're calling the right company," and she said "probably not!" Sounds like someone attempting to scam AMEX or someone's business. Read above note too!

Someone called our insurance agency from this number identifying herself as Mary Solano. She wanted to know if she could pay her premium with an American Express card. I asked her what insurance carrier she was with. She said she was not currently a customer, but wanted to know that if she became one, could she use her American Express card to pay. I told her it would depend on which insurance carrier coverage was placed through....as some company's do, some don't accept AMEX card.

She said um...Thank you very much, and then hung up.

NOTE: The call had a lot of static so hard to understand her at times. She had an accent, but I couldn't tell where.

Unsolicited call, poor speaking Hispanic female,
muttering something about a survey. Hung up and
blocked further calls from that number. Obviously
NoCall list doesn't work. These types of calls are becoming more frequent and a big pain.
