This number (Card Services) just called me and left a message about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. They have called before and I selected 1 to be connected. When I told the rep I wanted to take my number off of their call list, they hung up on me. I blocked the number.

The call came to my cell phone. I did not answer, because I did not recognize the number appearing on my caller ID. When I called back, A recording (Verizon Wireless) told me the number I had called was no longer in service. Another number for my blocked list.

When you get these calls don't even play into them. If you ask them any questions they will hang up on you. Instead I keep them going and offer them inaccurate information and keep them on the phone as long as possible letting them think I'm really going to give the scammers my personal information. When the time is right, tell them where to go and hang up on them.

When I told the rep I wanted to be added to the do not call list, they hung up on me. I called back, and it says the number is disconnected.
