Lewis Shapiro is a collection agency, not a law firm, and they committed two violations of the FDCPA by third party contact and threatening a suit that they cant carry out! If they posed as lawyers that is a third violation. They posed as a law firm and suggested a case number summons. They were unwilling to give us their name or any information. This person was told not to contact us and we are sending them a cease and desist letter. We have no idea who these people are and have never entered into any legal contract with these people..They are not allowed to contact us on any telephone numbers or addresses they might have as they obtained our information illegally.
