Received a call from this number.. his name is jack meyers from L&M associates states that he has sent something to my home or business that I have signed for, and we need to review page14 for some case which has my ss# attached to it. message sent before says it is Lewis and McCarthy and they have authorization to debit account today. Have no idea who this is or why he has my ss#. Sounds like a fraud call. Told us to call him back or his assistant Jennifer.

There were several recorded messages and phone calls with a recorded voice claiming to be "Jack Myers from L&M" saying that they had a contract and money would be directly transfered out of my account 'today'. However, they did not know they were reaching a church office. I blocked my caller ID number and called back to learn that they were indeed Lewis & McArthy, a debt collection agency. I refused to give my number, and thanked the rep for her time. I then called Lewis & McCarthy's number (877.832.6316) from their website http://lewisandmccarthy.com/. A rep answered and apologized saying they were looking for Jennifer Carter and would remove my number. This would have made sense if I'd not had my number blocked. :) So I filed a report against them with the FTC. I encourage everyone affected to do the same www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

call from law office of lewis and mcarthy to both my home and my husbands cell phone reporting that money would be taken from our debit cards today. we did not authorize any payments or withdrawals. This is a fraudulant call and collection.
