I received the same call at 11:50am, and 2:42pm Utah time. It is so annoying that scammers have to call, claiming that they are from the IRS or any other agency, and get away with it most often than not. Apparently, from what I understand this is a Voice-Over Internet Phone, which is somewhat hard to track down to one single area. The call may be coming from say this number, being from Pendleton, New York, but they could be calling from Fallujah, Afghanistan. Think I need to come up with a product or some way to help track the VOIP calls. Maybe I will work with Engineers or Tech Savvy people from NSA. Anyone? No... Not even a titter?... Pity.
Message is pre-recorded, I only hear the last part of it after my phone answers. Message is supposedly from a police officer telling me to call the above number "or have your attorney call" and threatens that he is not responsible for whatever happens if I do not call. Called twice on 19 November 2014, at 1:41 pm and 3:41 pm my time, same message.
