I have received several text from these jerks today, I have also informed them that I know this is a scam and have reported them to the Erie County Sheriffs department and they still keep texting me. These people and I use that term loosely are praying on the weak minded people, that will actually believe that they are in trouble for whatever reason. WTF is wrong with this world,

The original call came from Officer Rickey Clarke and call them back in two day or a warrant will be issused # 716 989 6219 but you need to call back # 716 777 3734. I Just received the same call but this time he was officer John Harrison and was calling on behalf of USA First Cash Loan who I do not know. The caller stated I need to pay 250-300 in order not to go to jail. I immediately called my sheriff department and was told it a SCAM! please do not call back this number. I was told this was a fraudulent act against banks, and wire fraud and they want their money, I will call you back on Thursday for your payment. This was from the CYBER CRIME INVESTIGATION Department of NEW YORK STATE you will get fired if you do not respond I was scared so I called back it was a SCAM.

This number text me stating my husbands name and social security was being investigated and if he doesn't respond there will be a warrant out for his arrest . A text message, not a call. Here's the number 7167773734

I just received the identical text message as did anonymous did on July 29, 2016. I contacted my local police department, and the officer I spoke with told me it was a scam. He receives around three of these per day. He suggested that anytime you get a call or message such as this, block the number. I hope no one returns these calls because they will ask you to verify your personal information. If they already had it, they wouldn't need verification. I had this same thing happen four years ago, when the caller demanded I go to Walmart and purchase a Green Dot card and load it with nearly 500.00. I didn't do it. Called the person back and told them I was indeed at my local police department and if they wanted to talk to the officer there, I would be happy to oblige. They hung up. Hadn't heard anymore until today. Public be aware of these scams. The officer I spoke with today told me that there's a lot of this happening and to be on the alert for scammers.

Just received a text Stating a complaint against my name & ssn#Oficer Rickey Clarke from the Cyber CRIME Investigation Department of New York. If I do not contact them in 2 days that a warrent would be issued against me. The number that is was texted from is 716 236-9641
