Had this woman named “mary” text me asking my prices on highlights for 6 women! Sounded so weird because she wanted them to each come every day and a driver would be arranged and asked about what credit i take. So glad I saw this.

The same thing happened to me Saturday. I knew it was a scam. Someone did the same thing last year under a different phone number. As soon as I saw the text message, I googled it and this was the first site I saw. I wanted to know where they got my information from. So I played along, and they got it from the Vagaro website.

In VA. 22401. I recieved the same exact thing! Seemed fishy! SO HAPPY I checked on here. Question though, WHAT IS HER MOTIVE!? Extremely bizarre !!

received a text also about 6 highlights from Mary. I responded that I am a nailtech and she said ok then what is the price for nails and what credit cards do I take. I told her I don't take credit cards after I googled her number and found this thread and she stopped responding.

I received this scam via text on my cell ...started with a hearing impaired person by the name of Mary ...tryed to get me to take credit card over the phone and give a driver the extra in the amount of 1875.. .we caught on as soon as she said when the money clears in your account give the driver of her friends 1875 ...waist of time but no harm done ...I told this scammer I can't do it and would not respond to your text messages anymore... Text stopped

Same thing happened to my girlfriend. However, Mary first contacted her by email. The email address is roselewis213@gmail.com.

My girlfriend had the same exact thing happen to her. However she started the correspondence by email.

A lady named Mary texted me asking to book 6 girls needing full highlights & cuts. She asked for my prices and said she was OK with the total. She then asked me for a "favor" and requested I charge an extra $1750 on top of the price of service, to give to her driver dropping off the girls as they don't have access to credit cards and she's in treatment. I told her what she's doing is illegal and I would not do such a thing and reported her to the authorities as well as screen shot what this site is saying. She did not let up and became aggressive so had to call my service provider who also reported her for harassment and blocked her from further contacting me. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS PERSON!

They just contacted my girlfriend and I Googled the number. This was the first website to come up. Thank you everyone for giving your experiences with the scammers. We will report them as well!!!

Mary called me too and 2 other stylist I know. This person has a mental or drug problem and needs to scam for money. Get a job!

This is the second time I've gotten a text from this person. She asked about highlights for 6 people. When I said I only do nails. She fine, nails for 5 people and what is your maximum price. This went on and on until I said ... This is a scam. Please don't contact me again.
