Claim to be a lawyer

Received a call from Steven Jones who claimed to be a law enforcement offericer and told me that I needed to make a payment of $150 toward a payday load that I got for $675 last year from the company he work for call Cash Now USA. I told him I didnt ever hear of that company and he said they are a the mother company of 3000 lenders and if I didnt pay documents will be taking to my local courthouse and I would be arrested and have to pay back &12,000 and send police to my job. I told him to give me a few days and call me back and he did but said now I have to pay more for them holding the papers so now $200 and had to do it by Greendot Moneypak reloadable card , no visa ,mastercard or debit will be excepted or checking account. Told him that I need to verify company so he gave me #850-810-5080 for a Mike Stone he told me the same info but neither could provide what date I did the payday loan or the actual website I went to or the name of the lender cause they have so many..didnt sound right at all. So I googled this # and the # he gave me and found reports about both #s so now believe they are trying to scam me for money especially since I called Greendot Money Pak customer service and they told me they are responsible if I get scammed and I should be careful and only give 14 digit # on card to someone that I know or an approved business off their list. This company Steven said he worked for wasnt listed. Also if he was a law enforcement officer, they don't proceed in this manner. It would be handled in a magistrate or something within legal and payments can't be traced then I asked him how do I get confirmation for payment and he said they would call me back an hr after I make payment with confirmation....sounds so fishy also didnt give me a badge# or anything and an law enforcement officer would have at least that.

Fake person, fake #, and if he really was an attorney then he would have served legal documents on you the proper way. I picked up a coup[e times and asked him if he was calling for and he said "Yes, this must be them, I need to talk to them right now" I said, oh that will be hard, they live in India now, and I gave him the following number: +022 2650 4481 (Go ahead, look it up and have a chuckle)
He hasn't called back, yet - but he will. I have better, more serious plans for him going forward.
