caller keep calling me ithis seems like a scam everyone please post beware notices so this scam can be stopped

They keep calling but I cannot return the call the number is not in service.

called this am told me that they were my accademic advisor when i said i wasnt here (I knew I wasnt from that school) they asked when would be a good time to call back. I told them that there wasnt one. tried to call back the number and got a recording "THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE!!!" WISH THESE PEOPLE WOULD STOP CALLING ME!
Whoever this person is that call me everyday up to three times a day is a real pain in the _ _ _. When I call back to see who and what they want I get a recording of an operator stating that THE NUMBER YOUR TRYING TO CALL IS NOT A WORKING NUMBER.
I want this to come to and end!
