They wanted to take care of my "legal troubles." The caller impersonated an Officer John Smith who told me there was an arrest warrant out for me and that I was in serious legal trouble. We could take care of it over the phone or the police would come to get me. I've never done anything illegal in my life so I told him that we have a family attorney if there's an iota of truth to his statement.
