Another spoofed VOIP phone number fraudulently used by Portfolio Recovery under the guise of a debt collector to dodge the FCC Do Not Call rules. They call hundreds of times a week from dozens of disguised numbers because they are a fraud. This is harassment. If they were a legitimate collection agency, they would have a legitimate store front with a legitimate phone number. And, by law, collection agencies are required to use the US Postal Service. They are phishing for names, money, credit, and identities. The FCC can stop them. After all, Homeland Security monitors and records law-abiding citizens' every phone call, every e-mail, every website, every keystroke, and every conversation near a "smart" electronic device. Just follow the money trail.
