FIDELITY MUTUAL
HERE'S WHAT YOU DO: Play along. Act like you would like to sign up for whatever. The telemarketer will forward you to someone else (warranty specialist or something) and this person will identify the name of the company.
After I found out the name, I told her her business' practice of calling people on the National Do Not Call Registry, bullying, and hanging-up-on-people is unacceptable.
So, she hung up on me. But not before I got the name of the company - Fidelity Mutual.
I'm guessing there's some loop hole that allows Fidelity Mutual to call anyone as long as they're not the ones making the call. Hence, the transfer to another person. I plan on playing this game with these @ssholes each and every time. Ridiculous.
They called saying the warranty had expired on my car which it hadn't and i relayed that to them. I then ask them to remove my number from their list and she didn't apologize, just hung up abruptly.
Received call from this number today. I did not pick up and they left no message.
Callers from this center identify by different names including NDL, VPA, National Dealer Service, and others.
This may be a scam. You are identified as purchasing a new vehicle from information in public records (county tax records).
The company offers to extend your warranty after it has expired. Do not give this company personal information.
