Pre-recorded message indicated that it was Tiffany with Cardmember Services (no specific company identified) and that there are currently no problems with account but that they would like to share an offer to lower the interest rates on my credit card accounts. Message asked to press 1 to speak to a representative. No option for being removed or added to do not call list. After pressing 1 to get the live representative, the representative did not identify themselves by name or the actual company. They asked if I was interested in lowering my rates. I told them that I wanted my number removed and before I could finish my sentence the representative disconnected the call.

Something like this: "This is Tiffany with your current credit card account. There are no problems with your account. Press 1 to find out how you can lower your interest rates." After pressing 1, a live person answered, gave no name, and made no mention of a company. I asked him to take me off their list, and he made no response and hung up.
