Initially they repeatedly call my brother-in-law's house and this Tracy Johnson gave this number to my sister-in-law when she finally called them back. Ms. Johnson told her that if my husband didn't call back today a warrant was going to be issued and he would be arrested. I called her back and she didn't give me a whole lot of info because she said she had to speak with my husband. She did say it was in regard to a payday loan from 2012 that we didn't pay back. I had my husband call back with me conferenced in. We talked with Ms. Johnson and she informed us that she needed to connect us with some sort of specialist or something (don't remember what she called Ms. Mendoza). We were given to Olivia Mendoza and she told us it was around $1250 that was currently owed. I kept asking questions about this because it may take us a while but we pay our bills. She became very insulting to us (no foul language, but talked to us like we were stupid and weren't understanding what she was telling us). I figured it was a scam but called to get confirmation.
FRAUD! Scary... They've called me about 20 times within an hour. I let them have it because they have been harassing me from several different numbers using different names; but I hear the same voices... A scratchy throated female smoker, a young African American female, and a very effeminate African American male. They obviously have no conscience because they will eventually admit they are con artists. They said "I bet that I make more money than you
scamming people than you make as a stupid nurse." This was interesting as I am not a nurse! LoL They have received some information which was sold to them and some of it is accurate but much of it is not. Keep asking questions and you'll see.
I just received a phone call from Chris Williams stating that I was going to be charged with fraud if I did not give him 1242.13, 600 of that today. He stated it was for a payday loan that I had defaulted on in 2012 which is not covered under my chapter 07 bankruptcy that I filed so if I did not give him the money tonight that he was forwardinig the warrant for my arrest to my residing state in which they will apprehend me until I go to court. I was extremely frightened as I do not even remember the loan he is referring to and my boyfriend was going to pay the money but thank you to everyone who commented and made me aware of this scam. They cant take you to jail over a payday loan anyway can they?
I spoke with an Olivia Mendoza at 720-636-8248 and she said I was going to be charged with Fraud and writing bad checks for a payday loan I defaulted on about 4 or 5 years ago. She said I had to make a payment of $1250 today by 12:30PM CST or my case would be forwarded to the state and a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I told her I didn't have that type of money and then she said I could pay $976 as a settlement and to call her back in an hour if I come up with the money. I called her back and advised that my account is $-19 and I wouldn't get paid until next Friday. She then said if I could come up with $300 today then I could pay the rest next Friday. After seeing all of the posts on this website and http://www.whitepages.com/phone/1-720-636-8248, and there is another website about her and her company too, I am at ease because she is the FRAUD! I was so scared that I would lose my job and my 5 year old son
I received a call today, only the person identified themselves as Amalia Brown from State to State Solutions, and asked that I call her back at 1-720-636-8246 x304.They are actually a company called Recovery State Solutions and are under investigation for fraud. I have referred this to my attorney, as they go under various different names and it is a scam. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE PEOPLE!
