I received a call this morning around 8:26 and another at 1:29 this afternoon. This morning A woman left a message stating that she was calling to inform me that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. And to know more about the case file to call 724-529-0979. I called back and spoke with a man with a heavy accent who claimed to be Donald Brown, Badge#: HM 2050928. After introducing himself as being Donald Brown with the IRS and giving his badge number, he asked if Jimmy was my husband and I told him that he was my son. Afterwhich he asked me to hold for a moment and when he came back he wanted me to confirm my address, and the last four digits of my social. I told him no because the call had nothing to do with me and before I could explain why he became irate and spoke so fast I couldn't understand anything he was saying except the last statement "you are going to be in trouble." So I hung up and went on about my day knowing that It had to be a scam.

Scammerz pretending to be IRS saying that law suits have been filed. Funny...I am an IRS Agent and know better!! Do NOT give any personal info to these people! If you receive calls, report them to TIGTA.
