Received call on March 4, 2019. The call ID read unavailable. The phone number appeared as 1-727-498-0504. Called at 10:02 A.M. We did not answer the phone because we have been getting scam calls, spam calls, since January 2019. On February I8, 2019 I registered myself on the National Do Not Call Registry. Till this day I am still getting these types of calls. What I do now I call 1-877-382-4357 they are the Federal Trade Commission they get information from you when you call and each phone call that is reported they investigate each one.I do pray that they catch these individuals that are doing this. There are so many throughout the World that is impossible to catch all of them. Thanks. I am from Louisiana.

I've been getting a ton of calls like this one and it definitely is a scam. But the scary part is how these crooks actually get your information. This is why it is so vitally important that you never give out any personal information online and maybe even consider how much simpler and safer your life would be without being digitally attached to social networking sites. In reality these sites are just an open door into your personal lives, in which your private information is vulnerable.

Don't believe what these sites tell you about how they protect your privacy. Most of the time such policies are so vaguely worded and so convoluted, that even after being interpreted by a legal authority, these policies of theirs merely excuse the owners of the social networking sites from culpability for their direct actions of violating your personal privacy. They tell you in order to use their site you have to agree with their ToS agreements and privacy policies, but that fact of the matter is that it's nothing more than digital extortion of your personally identifiable information!-------This needs to stop and someone finally needs to draw the line and put these companies in their place by removing their ability to pilfer and sell your information as if you were just some piece of meat.

And what good are sites like 'EveryCaller' if they don't have a special network already set up in place to inform law enforcement and/or the FBI and to work with them in tracking these cyber-thugs and phone scammers down for the purpose of bringing them to justice.

What good is it to complain to a site like this if all it does it retain a database of complaints?!

If 'EveryCaller' really wants to make a difference, then it should be doing all it can to collaborate with Legal Authorities for the purpose of catching the perpetrators of these crimes-------instead of merely acting as a conduit for people to share their stories.

Yes, today 5/25/2016 11:18am PST caller ID shows Florida Call 727-498-0504. Asked for me by name, asked who is calling & foreign jerk said Windows. Told him I did not have a computer & hung up. Did not block the call as ATT only lets me block 10 callers any one time but Verizon is worse they only let you block 5 callers unless you want to pay extra every month. No wonder these scam persons keep calling, the phone companies encorage them to call & break the laws, DNC lists. They are both making money, the phone companies that get paid for the air time they use in calling us customers, which in turn we are billed for the air time. No one loses except the phone customers. Maybe we need new laws to get the phone companies in line, instead of scamming the phone customers?

I use a "Call Control" which is a blocking app. Uses this Everycaller community list to block calls. No air time burned and you can set it up so you never even know they called. Sweet.
