Received phone call from this phone number which shows unknown on my caller ID. I did not answer and they left no message. I guess they have gone on to their next person to scam

Got a call from this number on my cell phone two days in a row. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. No message

They popped up on my computer and said someone put a virus on my computer and it was threatening my bank accounts, facebok, etc. Said it would cost 150 to clean up my computer. Scam for sure! Notified my bank right after and they said sounded like a fishing scam.

This is number is being used by an an entity offering to "lower existing credit card interest rates."

They are criminals using some sort of "dummy" number to hide their identity while phoning people at random and attempting identity theft.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL !

Neither my state's Attorney General's office or Department of Telecommunications and Cable cnor the F.T.C website could accept complaints regarding this phone number which might lead to inquiries regarding the perpetrators or a cessation of their activities .

I believe that just as was the case with predatory mortgage lending practices a decade ago, a lot of people are going to have to get hurt before any level of government responds.

I encourage anyone and everyone who has received calls like this to write his or her U.S. congressperson and ask for meaningful legislation to be written addressing the patent lack of consumer protection regarding scams which utilize telecommunications to perpetrate their criminal activity.
