This caller was telling me I would receive delivery of a life alert system (the kind you wear around your neck). I repeatedly told him I didn't order such an item and would not accept delivery. Following the call I called the number shown on caller ID and asked to be removed from their list. Today (4/26) I have received two more calls from the same number with the same information.

Non-Medical In-Home Services to the Elderly - occasionally identified themselves by LifeLine and Medical Alert (Have called numerous times, hours after 9pm, unfortunately I have not kept up with the dates. I usually hang up on them. The reason that I decided to contact the FCC today is that they told me that a friend or family member had purchased the equipment for me. They would not disclose who the family member was, but said that the gift was a $400 gift. When I asked if I would have to pay for anything, the salesperson finally and reluctantly said that there would be a $35 dollar monthly fee for service and maintenance. I have on more than one occasion asked to be removed from their list and they assured me that they would do that. The approach is different each time that they have called. They wanted to send a representative to my home to install the equipment that they said was a gift. I know for a fact that no one has made this purchase for me.
