Very threatening voice mail. Who are these people really? I called them back, and the man's accent made the call almost intelligible. I don't have a problem with his being from another country since we are all immigrants (unless Native American), but I had a wicked hard time understanding him.
I challenged him and the legitimacy of his claim to be from the IRS. I told him I knew it was a scam because it happened to a friend of mine. He still wanted to argue and got nasty. I told him to go fuck himself and hung up.
I am still getting calls, and I am also on the do not call registry. One would think the government would be concerned about this and shut it down.
https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml REPORT these type of phone numbers to the US Treasury!
I received a call on my cell phone and it came up call from New Jersey. Went to VM. Threaten me with fraud...just like all the other callers report. 1) IF there is so many complaints about this number and it defiantly a scam, WHY HAVEN'T THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF PROTECTING US AS USA CITIZENS SHUT THIS DOWN?!?! 2) I am also on the US National "Do Not Call List. What happened to that. Another promise not kept?!?!? We the People are getting pissed about our Rights NOT being protected. COME ON, PEOPLE IN THE PLACE OF POWER. STEP UP AND DO YOUR JOB! This kind of crap should not be even a conversation. With all the advancements and technology we have?!? Where is it?
Makes legal threats for tax fraud just rambles they will take you court and don't even use your correct name. Idiots!
They called my 19 yr old son and said he committed fraud. In 2013 and then when I told them he didn't file that yr he asked when did he file. Then he gave 3 different amounts. Scam
