It's called 'Caller ID Spoofing' (google it) and it's ILLEGAL!
If you received a call from 732 903-0837 you are being targeted through your very own computer IP address using 'IP Geocoding' (google it).
The offending website converts your IP address into longitude and latitude, then converts it further to pin-point your home address. Your home address will reveal your identity and your telephone number.
The offenders then place a call to your home using ‘Caller ID Spoofing’ in the hope of getting more identifying info from you. Mugshots.com uses such "internet friendly" capabilities.
They will call you using various 'caller id spoofing' numbers and caller locations (NJ, NY, UT, OH, etc) when they're really calling from Boynton Beach, Florida.
The caller ID number is bogus. The caller ID name is bogus. They pretend to be survey companies or various other companies, all at their choosing - whatever suits their fancy at the moment, whatever role they feel like playing at that particular time. They want to gather information about you to then put your compiled information on the internet in the hope that you will eventually pay them or affiliates to remove it. It’s calculated, eventual extortion.
none - dead line
