This is a scam. We live in KENTUCKY, they call here all the time for my husband. Neither of us has lived or been to MICHIGAN........ SCAM SCAM SCAM.

They call everyday! Going to tell them I am calling police today! They ask to talk to husband...I tell them he is not home..can I take a message..very rudely they say...have him call me back. Bill has already been paid so that was the first clue!!
Exact same thing! I called DTE back and complained and they said "so sorry for the inconvenience". They wanted payment for a final bill which was not due yet! They also said I could not pay through my bank site because the account was closed out! I asked how can it be closed out if I hadn't paid the final bill yet? All my life an account is open until it is paid in full! Better business bureau needs to fine DTE!
