It's funny. I called this number less than an hour after they left me a voice message just to screw with them. Number is not active. I do know it is a scam, but they are idiots. How is someone who is falling for it supposed to contact them? I had one like this last fall from a different number, with the same results. These people are complete MORONS! They are dumber than those who will fall for it! I havent even filed taxes yet, an official caller will not say "cops", and theu will not call you to tell you that you're about to be arrested!!!

Also just got this call. Same comments as above. I'm thinking you'd have to be pretty shady to even believe the cops were looking for you for four charges. I can't believe anyone would actually call them back and provide the callers with sensitive information.

Robot called me today! Such a delight. Robot had brilliant insight into my future, with legal actions being pursued by god knows who.
Made me think though, there's quite a room for improvement to make it more genuine and emphatic, so that it sounds at the least "barely" realistic.
For example, it does not cover the aspects like subpoena and warrant, which I would assume would be pre-requisites.

SCAM CALL. Voicemail left with fake threats of legal action. They hope you'll call back so they can collect sensitive info from you like name, address and SS# which they'll then use for identity theft.

Call from Burbank. I never heard the phone ring so I was left a ROBO-CALL VM, LOL! I guess the cops are after me for 4 serious allegations and I have to phone them back within 24 hours, LOL! SCAM SCAM SCAM

same thing IRS looking to arrest me if I dont call back in 24hrs robo call, I called back from a burner number and they never answered call, just kept hanging up. Scam

Got this call few mins ago. I stopped picking up calls from unknown numbers so went to VM. Same msg as everyone said above a robo talking "call back.....otherwise police will come...". clearly **Scam call**

Same as all. Don't fall for it. No one would EVER say "local cops" or use a robo if it really was a serious allegation. Everything about this voicemail raised fraudulent flags.
