They are trying to collect on old charged-off debts, or debt that has been paid off. They are not a legitimate agency and what they are doing is illegal. report them immediately if you are contacted. one of their favorite tactics is to tell you that the police are coming to your door to arrest you unless you pay them. They call themselves Portfolio recovery most of the time.

I just got a call from them about 10 mins ago and he said he didnt have (the company that he said my debt was with) phone number ha i did not fall for it
Keeps calling but leaves no messages.
