the caller is calling for my husband who has been dead 11 years and the creditors had all been notified though the mail acording to the laws state of PA where we were living at the time of his death. now they put my ss# on the same deabt that was charged off by all creditors and now this company is trying to collect this debt from me 11 years later.

calls almost every day.

they have consistantly called for the last 4 years about a debt thatat was paid over12 years ago or doesn't exist. I asked them for proof years ago and they wouldn't accomodate unless I agreed to their terms and signed a paper. As far as I'm concerned I think they are crooks

Over the last couple months I have gotten calls from this bunch. It has been an automated call saying to call some other number. According to the automated message they say their Portfolio Recovery, a debt collector. If that is true I would love to know what debt they think I owe. To date I have received nothing in the mail from them, which is illegal under the FDCPA. They have to notify me by mail that I have 30 days to dispute the debt. I never received that letter. Of course that makes sending a cease and desist a little difficult cause I don't have an account number to reference, and I'm not going to give them personal information in hopes of trying to get them to stop calling.

They keep calling about an account my ex-husband was told to pay during our divorce settlement. I have sent them copies of court orders twice already and they are
still calling. They have been calling for the last 5 years. They do have several others numbers they use to diguise themselves. BEWARE.
