I just received a call from these people today about a "Debt" that I had while living on a Military Base. While living on a Military Base, you don't pay bills except for your Cable and Internet and that's it. A $650 Debt from 2003? I didn't get there till the Beginning of 2004... What the Hell is going on with these people?

Calling wrong individual, annoying calls from unknown 1+area codes???

Portfolio Recovery has been calling my home phone for 2 years about a 12 year old debt that was satisfied with the lender. Certified mail to them with copies of debt satisfaction go unsigned and returned. They refuse to provide any sort of supporting documentation of an outstanding debt.
Today, they began calling my cell phone. That number has never been given out to anyone other then personal contacts, so I have no idea how they got that number.

Missed call from Portfolio Recovery at this number for my husband's debt that was already paid almost 10 years. They need to take our names out of their database because we own them nothing!

The lady who called me was trying to collect on a debt over 9 years old. The debt supposedly belonged to my husband. I told her to call my husband and she told me she had spoken to him on this phone number, I informed her she was incorrect because the number she was calling was mine, she was trying to get another number from me. She proceeded to tell me that any debt that was my husbands was mine and that I should be a good wife and help my husband out... Really giving marriage advice.. your job is to collect a debt not tell me how to deal with my marriage. Very rude.
