They were claiming to be able to lower the interest rate on my credit card, but wasn't specific about which credit card they were calling in reference to. I researched this phone number online, and one person said this company asked him for his credit card number to help him lower his interest rate, and when he refused, the operator got angry with him.

It was a prerecorded message in which it lead to a live voice by pressing "1" on the key pad of my phone. A man with an Indian accent came on and said that he saw that my credit card's %rates were higher than 10% and wanted to offer me a lower percentage rate. When I asked him what credit cards I had, since he knew the %rates, he could not answer the question. He also did not tell me what company he was with when I asked. He then tried to proceed with his sales pitch and when I stopped him and said that I believed it to be a spam call and that i was registered under Do-Not-Call, he hung up. I tried calling back twice but got a busy signal.

Contacting me to inform me that this was the 2nd and final attempt to notify me that I could get a better interest rate on all my credit card debt. I needed to press a key to speak to a live operator.

They alleged I had a limited time to take advantage of lower interest rates on my credit card. They call so many times on my regular phone and I have complained about it as well. Today was the first time on my cell phone.
