Same here, and it doesn't matter if you have or haven been to California, there is absolutely no logical reason that a recording would ask you call back about a complaint, and to that extent when does just a complaint outlined in these 'mysterious unnamed documents' warrant me to call back at all. What a pack of Morons; heck, even the Nigerians are better than this scam.
Same as above, have documents for a complaint with your name attached etc. I have never been to California so not calling back. Glad I saw this
shows up as Lee Vining on caller ID - "recently received a complaint with your name attached..."
They left a message. Call came from California stating they got a complaint about me and have a case number...Please, I've never even been to California. I didn't return the call.
Have currently received documents in a complaint with you name attached. Yeah, right. Not calling back, didn't answer, if they call again, I will block. Thankfully Verizon has changed and you can block 100 numbers now instead of 10!! i never answer these calls so I don't know how they get my name.
