Senior Medical Alert device. The call began as a recorded message and asked me to press '1' after completion to be connected to a person. I did that and the company identified themselves as "Senior Medical Benefits". I let them get a bit into their sales pitch when I interrupted and asked if they honored the national do not call registry. They said that they didn't have to because they weren't selling me anything, but were offering me a 'free' $400 device. When I asked them for their business information they said they would take me off the call list, we exchanged some words about how I should already be on such a list if they were any kind of reputable company, then they hung up on me.

Some kind of "emergency alert" system for seniors (which I am not). An immediate call to the number displayed via Caller ID resulted in a "this voicemail box is full" recording, with no indication of company name.

Recorded message about one of those "I've fallen and I can't get up" type services. The only response option given was "Press 1" for information (nothing for "don't call me again"). I pressed one and when the guy answered, I told him my number was on the federal do not call list and I wanted to make sure they didn't call again or I'd report him. He hung up on me without saying anything. He may be running a scam for the elderly.
