Yes I have this call several times say IRS after me for not filing taxes. Total fraud. And I know a real IRS agent. So sick of this.

They called me and said they have a warrant out for my arrest and I need to call them as soon as possible or they will let my local police dept know to arrest me... They said I own the IRS money and if I don't pay they will have me arrested for fraud.

scam alert: I received several calls from 760-248-0469 where they claim to be the IRS and are getting ready to file a lawsuit against me. I'm not sure what the scam is, but they have apparently called a lot of people. The IRS does not work this way. first, if they want money, they send a certified letter demanding payment or they will seize your assets. they then wait for you to call them to settle the matter. By the way, the IRS are really pleasant and easy to work with, as long as you don't scream and swear at them! I have no idea how they got my number: possibly just blind calling until they get a working number.

If you receive this threat, please do not respond to them.
