***SCAM ALERT*** I missed a call from this number and was left the following voicemail (transcribed by Google Voice) "I am calling from the legal affairs at the U.S. Treasury Department. My badge number is 9165. The nature and the purpose of this call is regarding an enforcement action which has been executed by the U.S. Treasury Department regarding a tax fraud against your name. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. So, before this matter goes to the federal claims court house, or before you get arrested, kindly call us back on our number as soon as possible. The number to reach us is 760-284-3373. Let me repeat the number again 760-284-3373. Hope to hear from you soon before the charges are pressed against you, thanks.". I called the number back knowing it's an obvious scam and the agent that answered was clearly not in the USA nor any part of the U.S. Treasury Department. The agent actually told me that he is located in Damascus, Syria.

Got the same call. The call came from 760-284-3338 but they told me to call a different number- That number was 760-284-3373. They said I would be arrested for fraud. I don't think the IRS or federal government would call you on the phone. Usually they send a letter I think.

Called me today threatening to arrest me. Didn't say what for but left a stupid msg. FU SCAMMERS!!

Got a call from the same number. Sick of this stupid fucking scams. I tried to call them back to give them a piece of my mind and tell them what i think about them, but did not get and answer. They can suck my D. Going to arrest me LOL

Told me they were the Treasury Department and the IRS was filing charges against me for income tax for the year 2011-12 - Asked for a the case number and he gave me one.
He said the sheriff had tried to serve me and that I was going to jail.
Told him I would call my attorney and call him back - he wanted the attorney's phone number and I declined. Hung up
