Said I had suspicious illegal activity in Texas, and SS might be suspended , so I must call right away,
Sam from the social security administration, rattled off some ID number and then asked my name, I did not provide any information. He was attempting to ask questions but refused to answer questions. When I asked what this call was regarding he began to laugh and then hung up. A time will come when I am going to stop answering the phone period. Always a telemarketing, insurance, refinance, loan, investor soliciting scammer on the other end..........................
Got a call about my social security number being "suspended". Yes, this is a spam call. The FTC did an article in September 2018 about a rise in these types of spam calls, and that social security numbers NEVER expire. If you need some peace of mind, you can find the article in Google by searching for "Your Social Security number isn’t suspended. Ever."
Caller said my social security number was about to be suspended
