A man with a very thick Asian or Indian accent left a voice message on my home phone stating his name was "Andy Brown" (which he obviously was not) and he was calling from American Law office (no such place). This man said on the voicemail that my friend or family member (he gave the name of one of my friends) had commited fraud with the ___Company (there was a "snag" in the reception so I couldn't understand the name) while using my name and information. He said he needed my cooperation and to call him back at such and such number (the first number I tried was a personal residence and the second number was disconnected). It was very obvious that this man is shady and not legit on any level. I had to listen to the message like 20 times in order to understand it all. I have a really strong feeling that this creep is getting information off Facebook based off the fact that he obtained my phone number and my friend's name. This leads me to question the integrety of the internet and social networks in general. I would love to be a part of seeking this person out and holding him accountable for any crimes he may have commited. I have saved the voicemail and I would be willing to submit it for evidence in this matter.
