I belive that this is a prank website that some is using and it is seriously making me very disturbed.

this person lives in california and I live near the east coast. He knew my name,number, and age.

i got a call from this number and he said" hi this is kathy from the mall would you like a pillow pet?" he was asking for all personal information obviously i told him nothing.. if he calls back again everyone report this number to the police

I got a phone call from the same number . He said it was from the National defence and my computer was interfering with there stuff,, what ever ,, I only have a land phone and no computer , What a joke , I told my husband if it was really national defence , They wouldnn`t be calling , they would be at your front door. I do not have caller I.D. so I wouldn`t know waht name showed up but I press # 69 to see who it was .

I got a phone call from the same number. I do not have a google phone. The guy said he knew me from high school, knew my full name and called me a f***ing psycho after I finally took the phone from my wife after she had answered since I didn't know who it was and I'm not from California, but she is. Anyone know what is going on?

This # called today 6/20...said they needed to verify if the # they called was a business.. Said he was calling from Yellowpages. idk seemed strange to me.....told him it wasn't a business

He mis pronounced my last name which happens often and was an older man.

This number called at 1:23 AM. I didn't appreciate that.
I have seen that number in the caller ID before.

called and said he was with the Health Department and said somebody would be coming around the next day between 1-2pm for an ispection of the store. Wanted to know the business Lic. number and other information. I told him he could **** off. If he was with the Health Dep. he would already have this information.

I believe that this may be a "shared" phone number (probably one of many) that displays when a caller places a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) call through the Internet/their computer rather than through an individual telephone number assigned to a particular telephone (land line or cell service) device. There could be many reasons why someone would do that. I had reason to place VoIP calls when my cell phone reception was terrible and kept dropping calls. I happened to ask the other party what number was displaying on their Caller ID for my Internet call to them--it was "Prank caller 760 705-8888". Other less scrupulous folks might certainly use this method to run scams. There was a feedback form for me to complete after the call to rate the call quality I had experienced--and if poor, to check the reason(s). Some of the check box options were things like "couldn't hear the other party at all", "connection dropped", "call wouldn't connect". So it's certainly POSSIBLE that if respondents heard repeated hangups, and even "Hello? Hello", that the caller MAY have been someone they knew who was making multiple attempts to reach them through a newer, alternative "phoning" platform that still has a few bugs in the system. Always better to be safer than sorry when in doubt and to treat each situation with appropriate caution.

I got a call from this number and the caller said "hello" about three times and I hung up. They called back immediately and when I didn't answer, the person (my ex boyfriend's voice) called back and said his phone (not this number)had water damage and he would call me later today or tomorrow. When I tried to call the number back I was either told to please try again or that the number was no longer valid.
